Global CIO is a professional IT community that unites more than 10,000 IT professionals from 110 countries. Global CIO was founded more than 10 years ago and has become international since 2020.
The goal of the Global CIO is to bring together IT leaders around the world to consolidate practical experience, create a unique knowledge base and communication between all professionals in the field of information technology.
Any CIO, CTO, СDTO, CISO and other IT leaders involved in digital transformation can join the community for free.

ABOUT THE CONTEST
The international annual contest, Project of the Year, was established by the professional IT community Global CIO.
In 2025, the "Project of the Year" contest will be held for the third time. In previous years, the competition received over 250 project submissions from 35 countries, with more than 2000 CIOs from our community taking part in the evaluation and discussion process.
Mission & Goals — Finding out, consolidating and promoting best IT-practices. The knowledge base formed as a result of the contest contributes to the development of the global IT industry.

Key features of the contest
Project of the Year gives a unique chance to present your achievements and get recognition from IT leaders all over the world.
Absence of a jury and the balanced methodology allows to make the selection of winners as objective as possible.
Participation is free of charge for both CIOs from end-user companies and IT solution providers.

A project or a part of a project must have specific goals and objectives.

The stated goals of a project or a part of a larger project must be achieved between October 1st, 2024 and November 1st, 2025 (the project duration is not limited to this period).

The project must have a specific implementation outcome.

Projects that have not been implemented at the customer organization shall not be admitted to the competition (e.g.,non-implemented software products).
